Are you a scholar, professional addressing significant concerns pertaining to the Global South? Would you like to share your thoughts to a broader audience of academics, practitioners, and policymakers?

The Global South Research Foundation encourages submissions of original content in one of the following formats:

  1. Blog Articles
    • We invite compelling and scholarly articles (800–1,200 words) on subjects pertaining to development, diplomacy, sustainability, gender, inequality, South–South cooperation, and other relevant themes to the Global South.
  2. Expert Commentaries
    • We are seeking concise evidence-driven expert analyses (1,000–1,500 words) that examine contemporary policy developments, global shifts, or emerging geopolitical trends from the perspective of the Global South. These writings must articulate a coherent argument and be substantiated by research, case studies, or personal experiences.
  3. Policy Briefs
    • We seek thoughtfully written policy briefs (1,500–2,000 words) aimed at influencing policy and decision-making. These briefs should identify critical concerns, evaluate underlying causes, and provide concrete solutions pertinent to governments, international institutions, or civil society in the Global South.

Formatting Guidelines

  • All submissions must adhere to APA 7th edition guidelines for citations, references, and formatting. Please verify that your references are comprehensive and accurately formatted.

Please send your submission to GlobalSouthRF@gmail.com with the subject line: Publication / [Type of Manuscript] (i.e., a publication or blog article).

Please include in your submission:

  1. A short biography (maximum of 100 words)
  2. Your institutional association (if applicable)
  3. Your manuscript in a Word document format (.doc or .docx)

Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis and will undergo review by the editorial team before to publication on our website.
